I had to try three times over the last few days to access your website. Are there problems with your hosting account? Or is it my computer?

Thanks Gail! Sounds like dogs have touched your life in a very personal way!! They do that. It's what they're best at.
The prison program is pretty cool. I guess I should do a few more posts on the great things dogs do for us. Thanks for the feedback.

When I read stories like this I am always amazed at how much we can learn from dogs. There was a tv show not long ago that chronicled the same sort of service, but instead of school children, it was prisons. It had the same positive effect on the incarcerated that these children experienced.

Luckily, I realized the love of dog early in my life the year after my family had experienced a terrible tragedy, and I've held onto that my entire life. I don't think I will ever live my life without a dog.
